FEW WORDS ABOUT THIS „SAVE KEIRIN BERLIN“ THING:
You might think #savekeirinberlin is some sort of promo gag? But unfortunately it’s more serious than you can imagine…
When our contract got cancelled last year we initially had the idea to do some sort of Kickstarter campaign, to pay for the moving and renovating costs. But we decided to do it by ourselves, printing shirts and watcha think, maybe some sticker packs?
In mid June we will be having our #KeirinBerlin soli party, during the #Radrace #Fixed42 weekend… Currently we got four punk gigs locked down, some DJ’s and a violinist from Japan. Most of the gigs are part of the #messlife community. We will offer drinks and maybe will even host some picture exhibition to raise some cash to pay for the lawyer that we might need, as our landlord takes this #gentrification thing very personally…
#Kreuzberg is the new East London/Brooklyn. If you wanna support us and if it’s only to grab a t-shirt from our web shop, have a coffee or spread the word, you will help us to continue to save the #trackbike and to push for more #bicycle culture to make this world a better place… It ain’t over till it’s over
